JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager - Sales to lead our operations across the ASEAN and ANZ regions. This senior leadership role will oversee all sales activities, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence for our medical equipment products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing regional sales teams, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to penetrate new markets in these regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to drive growth in ASEAN and ANZ markets, focusing on increasing market share for medical equipment products.
- Lead the sales team to execute strategies, ensuring sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of sales professionals across multiple countries.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to build high-performing teams that align with regional and organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the sales teams.
Market Expansion & Partnerships:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and distribution agreements in the ASEAN and ANZ regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as hospitals, healthcare providers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive strategic market penetration, ensuring successful product launches and expansion into new territories.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets for the ASEAN & ANZ regions.
- Regularly report sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to senior management.
- Analyze market data and customer insights to adjust strategies and improve sales performance.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:
- Ensure that sales practices comply with all local regulations, including medical device regulations in the ASEAN and ANZ markets (e.g., TGA, Medsafe, and other relevant regulatory bodies).
- Stay updated on market changes, including new regulations, customer needs, and competitive trends in the medical equipment sector.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, marketing campaigns, and operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery and availability of products in the region.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage with key customers and end-users to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for product improvements.
- Address and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
