QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certifications in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, or related areas is a plus.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing, with a proven track record of managing and growing online sales.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and online marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing software).
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and other key performance metrics.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic E-Commerce Manager to drive and manage our online sales strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, online marketing strategies, customer experience, inventory management, and performance analytics. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on management.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
E-Commerce Strategy & Operations:
- Develop and implement the company’s e-commerce strategy to increase online sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functionality and timely updates.
- Coordinate with various departments (marketing, logistics, inventory, etc.) to ensure alignment and timely execution of e-commerce initiatives.
Product Management:
- Oversee the product catalog, ensuring accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.
- Work closely with inventory and supply chain teams to manage stock levels and product availability online.
- Implement product promotions, cross-sell and up-sell strategies, and seasonal campaigns to increase product visibility and sales.
Online Marketing & Sales:
- Plan and execute online marketing campaigns (email marketing, SEO, SEM, paid social media, etc.) to drive traffic and sales to the website.
- Use data-driven insights to create strategies for improving the user experience, boosting conversion rates, and increasing average order value.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like traffic, conversion rates, sales revenue, and customer engagement, and adjust strategies as necessary.
Customer Experience Management:
- Enhance the overall online customer journey by improving the website interface, navigation, and checkout processes.
- Address customer concerns and feedback by coordinating with the customer service team, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
- Implement customer retention strategies, such as loyalty programs and personalized offers.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze website performance, sales data, and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other e-commerce platforms.
- Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, tracking sales growth, customer behavior, traffic trends, and other relevant KPIs.
- Use insights to recommend and implement changes to improve performance and drive growth.
Technology & Platform Management:
- Oversee the management and integration of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with web developers and IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve site functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company’s platform remains competitive.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the website aligns with brand strategy, visual guidelines, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient returns management.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing, discounts, and promotions are applied correctly across the platform.
